Fashion is more than just clothing trends, it is also a reflection of individuality and an expression of peoples' and organizations' lifestyles, values and identity.The Fashion Design program immerses students in an all-encompassing curriculum that delves deep into the realm of haute couture. From the finesse of fashion illustration and the intricacies of pattern cutting to the meticulous dance of design planning and the artistry of professional execution, our program weaves a tapestry of sartorial expertise. Elective courses, tailored to individual flair and passion, allow students to carve their own fashion narrative. Within this pioneering studio, a constellation of captivating courses awaits, guided by respected members of the fashion industry, who bestow their experience, ushering students to forge distinct and individual designs. The Fashion Design program flourishes through collaborations with the leading Thai and international fashion houses, intertwining students with projects and experiential odysseys that resonate with the pulse of the industry. The journey undergoes a transformation into a catwalk of practicality as students embrace internships, where they confront authentic challenges, guiding them toward a brilliant future in the realm of high fashion.Within the Fashion Design program, the educational experience is segmented into two learning streams tailored to meet the individual requirements of students:The first stream focuses on nurturing students to become creative designers, such as fashion designers, accessories designers, textiles designers, and pattern makers. Students in this track primarily pursue a career in fashion design, showing interest in the design process and garment construction to create fashion pieces. The second stream focuses on equipping students to work in the fashion industry with a primary focus on content creation. Careers in this group include digital content creators, stylists, makeup artists, and fashion journalists. Students in this stream have a strong interest in fashion, using it as a foundation to create content and work in fields related to fashion. They do not necessarily need to learn design, garment construction, or creative skills, but they emphasize the presentation aspects and content creation related to fashion.Upon graduation, students will have various career options beyond becoming fashion designers. They can pursue professions in the fashion industry, such as fashion brand founder, fabric designer, fashion stylist, makeup & hair artist, or work with different organizations as fashion marketers, fashion merchandisers, and fashion show organizers. In essence, they are fully prepared to thrive in any facet of the fashion industry.

The group of courses in Animation, Character, and Illustration Design: Learn character design, illustration design, and use creative technologies to produce artwork. Acquire marketing skills to professionally present your creations. Perfect for students who are interested in character design, cartoon animation, and illustration to further pursue careers in various fields such as games, advertising, films, or toys.2. Contemporary Art : This group of courses aims to create artists dedicated to contemporary art, striving to gain recognition both nationally and internationally. Suitable for those who aspire to become artists, work on their own artistic expressions, and have an interest in exploring the world of contemporary art.3. Product, Service, and Experience Design: Emphasizing skills in design analysis through comprehensive teaching methods, designing methodologies, and creating experiential designs. This group of courses is suitable for those who enjoy designing from small-scale products to grand and impressive works, have an eye for beautifully designed packaging, and wish to be involved in designing experiences for people.4. FAQs

You can apply to Bangkok University through two convenient channels:

  1. Onsite Apply: Visit the Bangkok University Main Campus and complete the application process in person. Receive your student ID card on the same day!
  2. Online Apply: Start your journey at www.admissiononline.bu.ac.th and apply at your own pace.

For Thai Programs

After successfully applying and completing the registration, you can start classes in June This registration is for the 1/1 semester, consisting of approximately 2-3 courses.

Registration for payment of the 1/2 semester fee will take place in August, covering an additional 4 courses.

If you apply for admission between May and July, classes will commence in August, and you will study and pay for the entire semester, consisting of 6-7 courses.

Following that, for the 2nd semester (starting in January), the semester fee will be based on the registration process.

  • Fill out the application form online. click
  • Use GPAX for 4 or 5 terms to apply directly and check the selection results immediately.

    Once accepted, you can pay tuition and register for the university online.
