Like most websites, there are cookies set on the website of Bangkok University to tract a number of visitors and visited pages in order to improve, analyze and further develop the website of the University for the visitors to receive better and effective educational services and information. In this regard, the University wishes to inform you of the type and description of the cookies set by the University as follows:

What are the cookies?

Cookie is a small text file which is downloaded and stored in a device connected to the internet such as computer, tablet, mobile phones or electronic devices. When visiting the website, cookies enable the website to remember your information and visiting records and will reuse the information when you revisit the website without having to reregister the personal data repeatedly. Cookies are not harmful to the devices and the information stored by cookies will be  read only by the owner of  the server.

Cookies used by the University will show  information of the website that  you visit and enable the University to offer services which match your need and preference. In addition, the first record setting of the website by the cookie will allow you to be able to access the website every time you revisit the website, except when the cookies are deleted which will then set every setting in a default mode.

The Information Collected by the University when Using Cookies

You hereby agree and acknowledge that the cookies set on the University website automatically collect  the information and personal data, as follows:

  • Browsing behaviors when visiting the University website such as website pages, chronological order when visiting the website and the last page of the visited website before logging off of the University website, including the website content and duration of the visit to the website

The University will not use the IP Address or any of the aforementioned data to link or to use as identifiers to the personal data in any way, unless it is required by laws, or for the operation of the University or for the lawful interest of the University.
