After studying film at Humboldt State University, he began his career assisting renowned Hollywood filmmakers such as Harold Ramis, Lindsay Doran, and Neil Burger. At 25, he produced his first feature film, Counting Backwards, and went on to work on numerous features, sitcoms, and documentaries. In 2010, he founded Rucksack Productions, developing original content for emerging markets. He later produced Femrat (2013), Albania’s first independent feature and its highest-grossing film.
