School of Business Administration Invites Experts to Host AI Workshop for Developing Digital-Era Supply Chain Skills

Logistics and Supply Chain Management Department, School of Business Administration, organized a special lecture titled "Boosting SKU Workflow Efficiency with AI" to build students' knowledge and skills in Artificial Intelligence (AI) for logistics and supply chain operations. The event featured distinguished industry experts, led by K.Kiattipong Suparatckeep, Head of Supply Chain – CMG Omnichannel Operation, and K.Taranphat Weerawatchaiyakorn from Central Marketing Group Co., Ltd. (CMG), who shared their expertise and real-world experience. The lecture was held at Meeting Room A3301, Bangkok University.

The lecture focused on helping students understand the significance of SKU (Stock Keeping Unit) as a core component in logistics management — serving as the primary database for warehouse management, enabling accurate product tracking and verification, reducing picking and delivery errors, and improving overall inventory management efficiency.

A highlight of the event was a hands-on workshop where students applied real AI technology to create and design product SKUs, reflecting an Active Learning approach aimed at preparing students with digital skills aligned with the Data-Driven Supply Chain era.

The lecture was also seamlessly integrated into the curriculum across three courses: LM312 Procurement Management, LM411 Information Technology for Logistics, and LM425 Material Handling and Packaging. Dr.Worawat Joradon, Chairperson, Logistics Management Department, delivered the welcome address and presented souvenirs to the speakers on behalf of the university.
The courses were taught by A.Pongpanote Srikornkan (LM312), A.Punnarat Chanasit and A.San Pinkaew(LM411) and Dr.Chayakarn Bamrungbutr (LM425).
