Master’s Degree

TOEFL minimum score of 550 (PBT) or 213 (CBT) or  60 (iBT) or

IELTS: 6.0 across each band or 

Duolingo English Test (DET) : 100 in all subscore 

Any applicant who has not obtained/submitted the specified English-language Proficiency Test Score is required to pass Bangkok University- English Proficiency Test  (BU-EPT).  Applicants can take the  BU-EPT test at the  Admissions Office,  A8, 2nd Floor, Main Campus.

*For MS(ITD) (Research-Based) program only:

Admissions Criteria

1) Oral Entrance Examination* (Oversea Applicants, online interview may also be required by the Committee for more
information)

2) International Programs, applicants are required to have proficient command of English skills*, equivalent to: TOEFL 550 PBT (CBT: 213, IBT: 60) / IELTS: 6.0 across each band / Duolingo English Test (DET) :100 in all subscore

3) Applicants should have a statement of purpose/ an essay describing the applicant’s goal in applying to the program*

4) Students admitted to study in the international program or English program at the graduate degree level who have not met the qualification requirement for the English-language Proficiency Test Score as specified by the University are required to register in English Preparation for Graduation Studies and pass an assessment.  If failed, the students must retake the course and pass the assessment. The University reserves the rights not to grant approval for graduation to the students who have not passed the assessment for  English Preparation for Graduate Studies.

* Admission of applicants will be based on the results of English Proficiency test, an interview, the candidates’ experience & achievements.

1. Classes Schedule 
   • Classes will be held on Saturdays only at the Main Campus.
2. Class Formation and Student Enrollment
   • Classes will only be opened if there are at least 15 students enrolled.
   • The number of classes offered will depend on the total number of students who pass the entrance examination.
   • Each class will accommodate no more than 40 students, or as deemed appropriate based on the total number of students.
3. Application and Interview Process
   • Application period: December 1, 2025 – June 29, 2026
   • Online interview: Saturdays, starting from December 13, 2025 onwards

There will be a total of 13 interview rounds as follows:

• December 2025: Saturday, December 13, 2025
• January 2026: Saturday, January 17, 2026; Saturday, January 31, 2026
• February 2026: Saturday, February 14, 2026; Saturday, February 28, 2026
• March 2026: Saturday, March 14, 2026; Saturday, March 28, 2026
• April 2026: Saturday, April 25, 2026
• May 2026: Saturday, May 9, 2026; Saturday, May 23, 2026
• June 2026: Saturday, June 6, 2026; Saturday, June 20, 2026
• July 2026: Saturday, July 4, 2026
   

Note: The Foundation Courses will commence on July 18, 2026. Classes will be conducted in a Hybrid Learning format, enabling international students who are in the process of traveling to Thailand to participate simultaneously with onsite students.

The New Student Orientation is scheduled for Saturday, August 22, 2026.

Step 2: Submit the online application form and issue the applicant identification card. (Applicants can see the date, time, and location of the interview in the online application system. The interview will be conducted online via Zoom meeting.)
