Bangkok University accepts transfer students for those who have already graduated from a bachelor's degree and wish to study in a different school as a second bachelor's degree.

On-Site Application
- Fill out the application form for new students at the Admission Center.
- Submit the application documents.
- Pay tuition fees, register as a student, and obtain a student ID card.
Note: The university does not accept cash payments in any case, effective May 1, 2023.
Online Application
- Fill out the application form online.
- Use GPAX of 4 or 5 from the last 4-5 semesters to apply and check the selection results.
- Once accepted, you can pay tuition and register online.

** There will be a written examination for international programs and the Chinese international program.
** Interviews will be conducted for applicants with a GPAX below 2.00 and for applicants who are applying to the School of Fine Arts and the School of Architecture.
** If you have a portfolio, please present it for consideration during the interview.

Thai Programs

International Programs
- Applicants with the following qualifications will be exempted from the written examination and basic reinforcement courses:
- International Baccalaureate (IB) diploma with a grade of 4 or higher in 5 subjects.
- International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE), General Certificate of Secondary Education (GCSE), or General Certificate of Education (GCE) O level with a grade of C or higher in 5 different subjects and A level with a grade of C or higher in 3 subjects, for a total of 8 subjects.
- GED with a score of 720 or higher for the new system or 3,600 or higher for the old system.
- Applicants with standardized English test scores that meet the specified criteria (test results must be no more than 2 years old) will be exempted from the written examination and basic reinforcement courses, according to the following criteria:
- TOEFL 500 (Paper-Based), 173 (Computer-Based), 61 (Internet-Based)
- IELTS 5.0 overall and in all skills
- SAT 1,000 in both critical reading and mathematics sections
- Duolingo English Test (DET) 80 in all sub-scores
- Pearson Test of English (PTE) at least 43 scores
- BU Placement Test (BU Test)
- Applicants who do not have English test scores or qualifying qualifications must take the BU Placement Tests.
- Applicants with other equivalent secondary education qualifications from within Thailand or abroad must take the written examination as specified by the university.
- Applicants who do not have English scores or do not want to take the BU Placement Tests can apply to the Preparatory English Course. If the evaluation score meets the university's criteria, they can enroll in the International Programs at Bangkok University.
Eligibility Criteria for Applicants
Thai Applicants
- Applicants must have completed high school education, either general or vocational, or equivalent from an institution accredited by the Ministry of Education.
- Applicants who have completed a diploma program (vocational certificate, higher vocational certificate, or equivalent) from an institution accredited by the Ministry of Education must have completed their studies in a field of study that is offered by Bangkok University.
- Applicants who have graduated from another university or higher education institution in Thailand or abroad that is accredited by the Office of the Higher Education Commission and are interested in studying a different undergraduate program that is offered by the university.
Foreign Applicants
- Foreign applicants must meet the same admission criteria as Thai applicants for each program.
- Thai language proficiency at Level I (equivalent to CU TFL) is required for foreign applicants enrolling in Thai programs.
