2. A copy of the Master's official transcript and Master's diploma stating graduation date (Original and English version)

5. English-language proficiency test score report:  (result is valid for 2 years)

• TOEFL minimum score of 550 (PBT) or 213 (CBT) or  80 (iBT)
• IELTS: 6.5 across each band  
• Duolingo English Test (DET) : 110 in all subscores

Research Prospectus (DCA-GC)

1) Oral Entrance Examination* (Oversea Applicants, online interview or teleconference may also be required by the Committee for more
information)
2) An applicant at the doctoral degree level must submit a TOFEL minimum score of 550 (PBT) or 213 (CBT) or  80 (iBT) or IELTS: 6.5 across each band or Duolingo English Test (DET) : 110 in all subscore 

3) Any applicant who has not obtained/submitted the specified English-language Proficiency Test Score is required to pass Bangkok University- English Proficiency Test  (BU-SALLC). 

Applicants are required to book the test in advance by contacting us at the  Admissions Office at admission@bu.ac.th

* BU-SALLC is only conducted onsite at Main Campus Rangsit.

4) Applicants can be exempted from the English proficiency test if they meet one of the following qualifications:

4.1) Applicants who are citizens of the United States, Australia, the United Kingdom, Canada, Ireland, New Zealand, or South Africa.

4.2) Completed a Master's degree in an International/English program.
* Must submit English Medium of Instruction Certificate
 

5) Applicants should have a statement of purpose/ an essay describing the applicant’s goal in applying to the program             

6) An applicant at the doctoral degree level may be required to present other qualifications, i.e. research competency or specialized professional experience

1. Classes Schedule 
   • Classes will be held on Saturdays only at the Main Campus.
2. Class Formation and Student Enrollment
   • Classes will only be opened if there are at least 15 students enrolled.
   • The number of classes offered will depend on the total number of students who pass the entrance examination.
   • Each class will accommodate no more than 40 students, or as deemed appropriate based on the total number of students.
3. Application and Interview Process

• Application period: December 1,2025 - July 13, 2026
• Application period: December 1,2025 - August 15, 2026 (D.Eng)
• Application period: December 1,2025 - September 30, 2026 (Ph.D KIM)
• Online interview: Saturdays, starting from December 13, 2025 onwards

There will be a total of 9 interview rounds as follows:

• January 2026: Saturday, January 31, 2026
• February 2026: Saturday, February 28, 2026
• March 2026: Saturday, March 28, 2026
• April 2026: Saturday, April 25, 2026

• July 2026: Saturday, July 4, 2026, Saturday 18 July 2026
   

Note: The Foundation Courses will commence on July 18, 2026. Classes will be conducted in a Hybrid Learning format, enabling international students who are in the process of traveling to Thailand to participate simultaneously with onsite students.

The New Student Orientation is scheduled for Saturday, August 22, 2026.
