School of Business Administration Partners with ProChile Thailand to Enhance Student Potential, Creating University Impact for Sustainable Economy and Innovation

International Business Management Department, School of Business Administration, and the Office of International Affairs organized the 24th BU International Business Consulting Program (BU-IBCP) in collaboration with ProChile Thailand, Chile's trade promotion agency responsible for exports, tourism, and investment. The program aims to enhance practical learning experiences and elevate students' competencies to the international business arena.

The program featured a special lecture titled "Promoting Chilean Exports Abroad: Insights from Chile–Thailand" for students from the School of Business Administration, Department of International Business Management, in courses IB434: International Business in Latin American Countries, IB423: Seminar in International Business Management, and IB449: Global Business and Innovation. The guest speaker was Mr. Oscar Arriagada, Trade Commissioner, ProChile Thailand, representative from Chile's Export Promotion Bureau at the Embassy of Chile, who shared knowledge, international trade trends, and real-world experience in promoting exports at the international level.

This program reflects Bangkok University's role in creating University Impact through developing students' skills for the global labor market, aligned with Sustainable Development Goals. The program focuses on strengthening human resource capabilities, developing skills in international business, trade, and investment to support sustainable economic growth in the future. Simultaneously, the learning content and experience exchange promote understanding of innovation, business infrastructure, and international networking, providing students with opportunities to learn from real cases of international cooperation and the application of business innovation in a global context.

On this occasion, Dr.Krairoek Pinkaeo, Dean, School of Business Administration, Dr.Nittana Tarnittanakorn, Associate Dean School of Business Administration, and Dr.Panadda Unyapho, Director, International Affairs Office, welcomed the guest speaker and discussed future collaboration opportunities, including sending students for internships at the Embassy of Chile, which will expand professional learning opportunities at the international level.

The 24th BU-IBCP is supervised by Ajarn Sumet Jirakasemwat, with Ajarn Vajirawit Siripiyaphat, Chairperson, International Business Management Department, serving as program advisor. This represents another significant activity that reinforces Bangkok University's mission to develop integrated education, creating positive impacts on society, economy, and sustainable development at the international level.
