Tourism Management BUI Partners with Sofitel Bangkok Sukhumvit to Create AI-Driven Service Experience

International Tourism and Hospitality Management Program, Bangkok University International (BUI) has partnered with Sofitel Bangkok Sukhumvit Hotel to continuously develop skills and experiential learning opportunities outside the classroom for students in the THI102 Service Quality Management course through a special project that brings real-world business case studies into the classroom. The initiative focuses on developing students' analytical thinking skills by providing opportunities to study and analyze actual hotel customer feedback data through the application of Generative AI technology to find solutions to real service problems, while connecting theoretical knowledge learned in class to maximize practical benefits.

In this activity, the team from Sofitel Bangkok Sukhumvit provided full support, led by K. Krit Tokrisna, Guest Experience Manager, and K. Nura Preechanond, Cluster Learning and Development Manager. Both executives provided challenging assignments, consultation and guidance, and served as judges in the competition alongside Assistant Professor Asst. Prof.Dr.Walaiporn Rewtrakunphaiboon, the course instructor.

The event concluded with an award ceremony by Mr. David Talbot, Hotel Manager, recognizing teams with outstanding performance. This serves to motivate students to practice analytical thinking processes from real situations and learn to integrate theoretical knowledge with practical work, creating innovative service experiences that efficiently meet customer needs.
