Learning extends beyond the classroom; it's a lifelong journey.

Event Production and MICE Management Department, School of Communication Arts, organized an educational study tour to Japan World Expo 2025 in Osaka, Japan, from May 12-18, 2025, to provide students with learning opportunities and hands-on experience outside the classroom in world-class event management at "Osaka Expo 2025." Students learned about event production, exhibition management, space and crowd management, content storytelling, design and decoration, and most importantly, the professional use of new technologies in content presentation within various pavilions.

Another special aspect of this project was the collaboration with Rightman Co., Ltd., one of the co-designers and exhibition organizers for the Thailand Pavilion and a partner of the Event Production and MICE Management Department. They provided special access for faculty and students from the School of Communication Arts to visit both the exterior and interior exhibitions of the pavilion. Additionally, students visited pavilions from other countries, including the Japan Pavilion with exclusive enhanced access to special exhibitions that opened perspectives on storytelling and the integration of content with technology, and the Saudi Arabia Pavilion with its spectacular use of Projector Mapping technology on the pavilion's facade.

This was a special opportunity for Bangkok University students to experience learning about culture, traditions, and people through other important locations in Japan, including visits to Osaka Castle in Osaka, Todaiji Temple in Nara, and the Arashiyama Bamboo Grove in Kyoto. This exceptional journey allowed students to gain comprehensive multidimensional learning experiences, bringing back knowledge and experiences to further develop and enhance their project work within their field of study.
