BUHTM Ignites Pitching Stage with Real Coaches to Empower Tourism and MICE Business Thinking

Tourism Management Program, School of Humanities and Tourism Management (BUHTM) organized a hands-on learning activity for the Entrepreneurship in Tourism and MICE Industry course to develop thinking skills and real business creation in the tourism and MICE industry through a Project-based Learning process that emphasizes learning from real situations.


The activity began with a panel discussion on "Key Success: The (Not So) Secret Formula for Business Success"featuring experienced entrepreneurs, led by K. Thawatchai Neamviwat, Managing Director and Founder of Gorilla Company Limited, and K. Thanayos Nimsamer, Managing Director of Grand World Holiday Company Limited, who shared their experiences, lessons learned, and business recommendations while providing real business challenges for students to develop into simulated business plans.


This was followed by the highlight activity: TM Entrepreneur Pitching Day 2025, a business plan presentation competition that provided opportunities for students to showcase their potential in presenting simulated business plans to expert judges from the industry, while receiving in-depth feedback and guidance for future development.

This activity reflects a learning approach that helps strengthen students' readiness to enter the job market and become future entrepreneurs, aligning with the faculty's mission to develop students with knowledge, skills, and vision to become leaders in the new era of tourism and MICE business. The activity was conducted under the supervision of course instructors Ajarn Atchara Srilacha, Ajarn Pongsavake Anekjumnongporn and Ajarn Paskrich Sutthiwetin.
