Bangkok University has entered into a significant collaboration with Synphaet Hospital, signing an academic cooperation memorandum of understanding for medical and nursing innovation. This partnership combines the strengths of the education sector with the healthcare service sector, particularly leveraging Bangkok University's specialized innovation centers that excel in technology development and creative concepts, which will serve as a crucial foundation for developing future healthcare systems.

The signing ceremony was attended by representatives from both organizations, with Asst. Prof.Sansern Milindasuta, Executive Vice President for Academic Affairs and K. Panida Panupattanapong, Chief Executive Officer of Synphaet Hospital, as the signatories. Witnesses from both sides included Assoc. Prof.Dr.Natthaphob Nimpitiwan, Vice President for Research and Educational Innovation Developmentand K. Petch Panupattanapong, Director of Synphaet Company Limited. The ceremony took place in the conference room on the 8th floor of Synphaet Medical Center.

One of the pilot projects under this collaboration is a modern medical and nursing skills training platform that will integrate technology to enhance various skills training for medical personnel, improving their performance efficiency in real-world situations. The project will receive support in terms of resources, personnel, and practical training facilities from the Synphaet Hospital network, which has up to 8 branches nationwide. Additionally, Synphaet Hospital has plans to establish educational scholarships and research grants to provide Bangkok University students and faculty with opportunities for continuous development that can be extended to create long-term positive impacts on Thai society.

For the future, both parties have collaboration plans for developing interesting projects, including the implementation of VR/AR technology in medical training systems, virtual emergency situation simulations, and the development of games to create knowledge, understanding, and reduce anxiety for children receiving hospital services.

This collaboration marks the beginning of sustainably elevating Thailand's healthcare system, with shared goals of advancing medical, nursing, and educational innovation toward a future with improved quality of life for all Thai people.
