Creative Special Event: Driving Tourism towards Creative Economy Cities
Tourism Management Department, School of Humanities and Tourism Management, organized a seminar titled "Creative Special Event: Driving Tourism towards Creative Economy Cities"
Dr. Supalak Suwathi, Managing Director of D Sixty Three Co., Ltd., Chairman of the Education and Development Subcommittee of the Thai Exhibition Association (TEA), and Committee Member of the Event Management Association (EMA), graciously served as a guest speaker to educate the students.
During this lecture, students learned about approaches to develop special events that can be used to promote tourism and add value to cities according to the creative economy concept.
The lecture also included case studies of international event organization, enabling students to understand practical approaches and apply this knowledge in project planning (Project-based Learning) for developing tourist areas in Pathum Thani province. This aims to sustainably elevate the city's economy and effectively develop research topics. The seminar project was overseen by
