Bangkok University Language Institute (BULI) is proud to announce the successful completion of the "English Communication Tips and Tricks" series, designed to enhance the English communication skills of students within the business, entrepreneurship, and service industry clusters.
Session 1: Win-Win Business Communication in English
The first session, "Win-Win Business Communication in English," was by Ms. Rosesanant Punithipandkul, Managing Partner at Common Ground Digital Agency, as the guest speaker. This session focused on equipping students with effective business communication strategies, including formal writing, presentations, and negotiations. Ms. Rosesanant shared valuable hands-on experiences from her extensive career, illustrating the importance of crafting professional emails, delivering impactful presentations, and engaging in successful business interactions. Participants were expected to gain a better understanding of these key business communication skills and the confidence to apply them in real-world scenarios.
Session 2: Pitch Perfect: Communicating Your Ideas Effectively
The second session, "Pitch Perfect: Communicating Your Ideas Effectively," was led by Ms. Kanpapak Lueksuengsukoom, New Business Development Director at KANTAR. This session delved into techniques for pitching ideas and persuading stakeholders in the entrepreneurial realm. Ms. Kanpapak shared her expertise in structuring compelling pitches, delivering them with confidence, and responding effectively to questions and objections. Through interactive pitch practice sessions and peer feedback, students were expected to leave with enhanced skills in idea presentation and persuasion, crucial for entrepreneurial success.
Session 3: Customer-Centric Communication in the Service Sector
The final session, "Customer-Centric Communication in the Service Sector," was conducted by Ms. Onarun Sripraram, Cabin Crew & Flight Instructor at Thai Airways International. This session emphasized communication strategies for delivering exceptional customer service. Ms. Onarun shared practical experiences from her career, highlighting the importance of empathy, handling challenging situations, and building rapport with customers from diverse backgrounds. Through role-plays simulating customer interactions and scenario-based discussions, participants were expected to develop the skills necessary to excel in customer-centric roles within the service industry.
The workshops were well attended by students demonstrating significant interest and engagement in improving their English communication skills, underscoring the value of practical communication tips and fostering a supportive learning environment.
