Bangkok University partners with TradingView to bring live global market data into the classroom
Bangkok University International is now an official TradingView Education Partner. Students in computer science and business will work with the same live market data and professional tools used every day across the finance industry. The partnership was brought to the University by the International Computer Science Program.
Twenty years ago, following a financial market meant a seat on a trading floor and an expensive terminal. Today, a student with a browser can open the same live charts professionals use in London or Singapore.
That shift is why Bangkok University International is now an official TradingView Education Partner, giving students and faculty free access to the same professional tools used by millions of traders worldwide.
The partnership launched on September 9, 2026, with a workshop and team challenge at C6-508 Auditorium, led by Khun Rita Sukkhasem, Regional Growth Manager for Thailand. Mixed teams from Computer Science, Business Administration, and Business English were given a notional 1,000,000 baht to research a company and pitch their investment case, competing for awards like best reasoned case and best presentation in English. One team built its pitch around NVIDIA, defending their choice with real revenue and stock price data, all in a single afternoon. Every participant now holds a TradingView account, with upgraded plans for top teams.
Brought to BU by the International Computer Science Program, the partnership reflects a simple idea: fintech isn't just finance that uses computers; it's a computing problem about money. Further joint activities and a formal MoU are in the works.
