Connecting hospitality knowledge with the science of holistic health, while equipping students with the skills and experience to enter the Wellness Hospitality industry of the future.
School of Humanities and Tourism Management and Bangkok University International College signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with RX Wellness Company Limited, building on ongoing collaboration in education and student development. The agreement links learning in hospitality and wellness with real industry experience, in line with BU's "Practical University" direction, which aims to give students knowledge, skills, and experience through hands-on work.
The signing ceremony was attended by Act for Dean, School of Humanities and Tourism Management A.Sitthipong Kimsawatand Dean, Bangkok University International ProgramsA.Jermsuda Manakul, along with K.Chatsama Charoen Vijitsilp, Group Director of People & Culture Programs, and Assistant Professor Dr. Tippawan Meetaem, Head of Academy, RX Wellness Company Limited.
Under the collaboration, both parties will jointly develop internship and employment opportunities, project- and case-based learning drawn from industry, as well as curriculum development, teaching, research, and joint academic activities — equipping students with skills aligned with the direction of the Wellness and Hospitality industry.
This partnership builds on BU and RX Wellness's ongoing collaboration in curriculum development, knowledge and skills enhancement, performance evaluation, and professional training. It also opens opportunities for students to learn about the wellness business through affiliated organizations such as RAKxa and RXV Wellness Village — linking hospitality knowledge with holistic health concepts and preparing students for careers in the future Wellness Hospitality industry.
