Bangkok University Unites Public and Private Sectors for the 33rd "For Our Hopeful Children" Project

The "For Our Hopeful Children 2026 — 33rd Edition" was held on 28–29 March 2026 at Hat Toei Ngam, Sattahip District, Chonburi Province, organized by PTT Global Chemical (GC) and the Faculty of Communication Arts, Bangkok University, in collaboration with public and private sector partners, to share love and opportunity with underprivileged children and youth from across the country.

Asst. Prof.Dr.Arishai Akraudom, Dean, School of Communication Arts, spoke about the project: "This is the 33rd edition of 'For Our Hopeful Children.' This year's project is a collaboration among GC, the Friend Fund, the Marine Corps Command of the Royal Thai Navy, and the Naval Officers' Wives Association — together creating a space of opportunity where disadvantaged children and youth can gain knowledge, experience, and inspiration to move forward in life. Over 1,000 underprivileged children, children with multiple disabilities, and orphans from across the country participated. Bangkok University's Master of Communication Arts Program in Brand Management and Strategic Communication recognized the importance of this project — which focuses on physical, intellectual, and emotional development in alignment, emphasizing equal opportunities for disadvantaged children. Graduate students were therefore brought in to participate, gaining real-world experiential learning while creating genuine social value."

The project aims to provide meaningful learning opportunities and life experiences for underprivileged children and youth, while building happiness, encouragement, and motivation for self-development. Activities included food and beverage stalls, ice cream, prize giveaways, and activity booths designed to inspire and delight participants.

Many underprivileged children continue to face significant barriers to physical, intellectual, emotional, and social development. Support from all sectors is therefore vital in filling these gaps, building resilience, and empowering young people to grow into meaningful contributors to society.

The event was officially supported by Khun Chaowanee Phantaphruk, Manager of the Corporate Social Responsibility Unit at PTT Global Chemical Public Company Limited, and was attended by Assoc. Prof.Dr.Viroj Suttisima, Dean, School of Communication Arts, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Wirot Suthisima, Director, Master of Communication Arts Program in Strategic Communications, along with program faculty members.
