"Part-Time BU — Better Than You Think..." Connecting Students to the Real Job Market

Workinteg, Bangkok University, organized the event "Part-Time BU — Better Than You Think..." in collaboration with several leading external employers, to create a space where students can access part-time job opportunities and gain real-world experience alongside their studies. The event was held at the Auditorium, 5th Floor, Surat Library, Bangkok University.

One of the highlights of this event was the opportunity for students to meet and submit part-time job applications directly to representatives from leading national companies, including ThaiBev, Major Cineplex, Central Group, and Minor Group — all large organizations offering a variety of part-time positions in service, sales, and organizational support, allowing students to choose roles that match their interests and class schedules.

Students who participate in the program not only gain the opportunity to work with leading companies, but also access insider knowledge through exclusive lecture sessions designed to prepare them for the real world of work. They will receive professional working techniques directly from entrepreneurs in a session titled "Deep Dive into the HR Perspective: The Skills That Win HR Over" — giving them insight into what the labor market truly demands. They will also learn how to upgrade their experience through "Part-time, Full Value: Turning Part-Time Hours into Top-Tier Skills" and the strategy session "Setting Goals for Part-Time Work" — transforming every action they take into a stepping stone toward career success. Because we believe that "when learning doesn't happen in the classroom," firsthand experience from experts becomes the essential New Skills that will empower students to step confidently into the professional world beyond the university walls.

Attendees also had the chance to win prizes and enjoy special privileges throughout the event, fostering a fun and friendly atmosphere between students and employers.

Part-time work during studies is not merely about earning extra income — it is a vital opportunity to accumulate professional experience, build a portfolio, and expand one's network in a field of interest, all while still a student, providing a significant advantage when entering the full-time job market in the future.
