BU Donates Eyeglasses On Tour at Khlong Luang Police Station
Bangkok University, through the Dr.Supong Limtanakool Foundation organized a free eye examination and eyeglasses assembly project under the "BU Donates Eyeglasses" initiative at Khlong Luang Police Station to provide services to police officers and the general public.
The project received significant interest with many participants, including police officers and local residents. Participants received comprehensive services from computer-based eye examinations, eyeglass frame selection according to their preferences, to receiving ready-made glasses completely free of charge.
On this occasion, Pol.Col. Athimate Chaisaranyawit, Superintendent of Khlong Luang Police Station, welcomed Asst. Prof.Chanunshee Pangkhanont, Assistant to the President for Administrative and Educational Services, along with faculty members and staff who participated in providing services.
The "BU Donates Eyeglasses" project reflects Bangkok University's commitment to social service and creating collaboration between educational institutions and government agencies for the benefit of the public, with the goal of helping those with vision problems access eye health services comprehensively and equitably.
