Marketing Challenge"

A platform for new generation ready to change the world through sustainable marketing

The Graduate School of Bangkok University, in collaboration with Starbucks Thailand, has created a practical learning experience by organizing the Final Pitching Project under the theme "BREW THE FUTURE: Sustainability Marketing Challenge." This project represents a co-creation partnership between the educational and business sectors, aimed at elevating the teaching in the Master of Business Administration (MBA) program at Bangkok University toward becoming a true Practical University.

The project provides students with the opportunity to intensively apply Business Intelligence concepts and marketing strategies under the coaching and guidance of course instructors and expert mentors from STARBUCKS. The main objectives of this activity are to help students learn and develop sustainable marketing planning skills, enhance creativity and practical marketing problem-solving, and provide students with opportunities to learn from experts from a world-leading business organization.

Each student group in the program has collaboratively analyzed, developed, and designed intensive marketing plans, resulting in Core Values and Key Concepts that align with Starbucks' sustainability goals. On Final Pitching day, each team presented their work to a committee of internal and external experts, including Assistant Professor Dr. Sasiprapa  Phanthanasawee, Dean of Graduate School; Dr. Sumetee  Wongsak, Director of the MBA Program (Thai language); Instructor Nawachai  Kiatkorkua, Head of Enterprise Marketing Management Unit, AIS Business, as the main instructor and coach; and Dr. Sirikanya  Tiyacharoensri, Senior Real Estate and Market Planning Manager, Starbucks Thailand, at the Banquet Room, Tourism Tower Building, Bangkok University.

This marks another important step in developing students' potential to enter the real working world with skills that address business needs and contribute to social sustainability.
