BU Organizes Emergency First Aid and Basic Life Support Training to Equip Students with Lifesaving Skills

General Education Administration Center, in collaboration with the Student Affairs Division, organized a workshop on "Basic CPR & AED, and First Aid Training: Emergency First Aid and Basic Life Support" to promote and develop cardiopulmonary resuscitation and emergency first aid skills under the concept "Saving lives is everyone's responsibility." The program featured instructors from the Teach for Life Association and the Oxyfight Foundation, who provided demonstrations and knowledge to students.

The training was conducted in three sessions at Diamond Hall, 5th Floor, Building A3, Bangkok University. The objective was to enhance students' knowledge and skills in cardiopulmonary resuscitation and emergency first aid, enabling them to provide timely assistance to emergency victims and increase survival rates among the public.

Participating students received hands-on training with realistic simulation mannequins, practicing CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation) and using AED (Automated External Defibrillator) devices. This practical experience builds confidence and ensures students can apply these skills effectively both on campus and in daily life. Upon completion, participants received certificates of training completion.

This initiative reflects Bangkok University's commitment to developing well-rounded graduates with comprehensive knowledge and skills, as well as a social consciousness to help others, enabling them to become truly valuable citizens to society.
