AI: The Game Changer - Communicators in the AI Era with Comprehensive Knowledge Without Restrictions
Communications and New Media Department (CNM) and Event Production and MICE Management Department, School of Communication Arts, organized the "AI: The Game Changer" event to prepare students for technological advancement. Dr.Thirapon Wongsaardsakul, Assistant to the President for Academic Affairs, presided over the event.
This AI readiness activity serves as a powerful tool for students in the current era, providing knowledge, skills, excitement from competitions, and souvenirs during the event.
The first day prepared everyone to become trendsetters in AI usage in the game master style, with industry experts as Guest Speakers sharing both knowledge and techniques for using AI in work comprehensively without holding back. The first Guest Speaker was Mr. Jaranpat Bunyoung, CEO of Glory Forever PLC and developer of Alisa AI, who took everyone deep into AI's potential as a driving force transforming various industries, while exploring the direction of AI technology development and its future role in business and industry.
Knowledge was further enhanced by the second Guest Speaker,
Mr. Sun Teerapol Ampai, a Marketing Technology Influencer and Head of Search at Bumrungrad Hospital, who guided exploration of the AI universe to discover new dimensions of working with intelligent technology that can learn, understand, and respond to human needs profoundly, enabling organizations to transform data into ideas that create meaningful experiences for both organizations and customers.
Guest Speaker Mr. Pong Chaiyapong Lapliangtrakulr, CEO of PAM Real CDP, invited attendees to revolutionize the marketing industry with AI that not only helps with work but makes it easier and more efficient when applied appropriately to specific problems, turning everything into an enjoyable game that helps businesses stay ahead of competitors.
The first day concluded with an AI Generated Image Contest by partner "Alisa AI," who provided fun challenges for CNM students to showcase their creative abilities using AI, revealing the extraordinary work of CNM students.

First runner-up: Soft Power Art Toy Design by Alisa AI Congratulations to Ms. Tatsanee Wongchomphu and Ms. Ramphasiri Jiradamkoeng, students in the English for Professional Communication (CA201) course.
First runner-up: Living Mineral Water Design by Alisa AI Congratulations to Mr. Rachot Saetiao and Mr. Apiwit Ponmuang, students in the Public Relations Landscape (PR022) course.
Activities on the second day began with the first Guest Speaker,
Ms. June Hathairat Mahapairojana (AI Specialist, Glory Forever PLC), who explored the AI world, explaining why these technologies are important for modern communicators, and sharing tricks for using AI most effectively for future business and marketing industry development.
This was followed by AI usage from Canva with Ms.Opal Patcharida Smithinet (Canva Community Manager), who provided knowledge about using various functions to make content, image, and video creation easy and quick. Features like Magic Write help users write content or articles efficiently. Additionally, the Text to Image function can transform text into desired images using AI, and Magic Design helps create amazing videos. Canva also has many other functions that meet the needs of users in the digital age.
