BU x Shiseido Continues Cosmetic Packaging Upcycling Art Project for a 3rd Consecutive Year
The School of Fine and Applied Arts, Bangkok University, in partnership with Shiseido Group, has held the "Shiseido x BU: Beauty of Art Contest 2025" for the third consecutive year, giving students a platform to compete in designing three-dimensional artworks through the upcycling of used cosmetic packaging — in line with the brand's commitment to sustainability and the circular economy.
Dr.Jiraporn Kerdchoochuen, Assistant to the President for Academic Affairs at Bangkok University, delivered welcoming remarks and presented a token of appreciation to K.Parichart Veerasatien Managing Director of Shiseido Group Thailand, who also served as a contest judge.
The program followed a Project-based Learning format, with Shiseido supplying packaging materials for students to transform into artworks or everyday functional products. Students then presented their creations for judging and selection.
The judging and awards ceremony took place at Pongthip 3, Building C3, Bangkok University, where 15 finalist works were presented to the judging panel before the official results were announced.
