BU Welcomes the New Year 2026
Bangkok University held the event "BU in Loving Memory of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, The Late Queen Mother" – Remembering Her Royal Grace into a New Era of Loyalty. During the morning session, executives and BU staff joined together in the merit-making alms-giving ceremony as an auspicious beginning to 2026.
At the event, Ajarn Purat Osathanugrah, President of Bangkok University and Dr. Thanu Kulachol, President Emeritus of Bangkok University extended New Year greetings to the BU community and led the tribute to Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, The Queen Mother, who devoted her life to serving the Thai people. The ceremony also included an award presentation honoring university staff who have completed 10, 20, and 30 years of dedicated service, as well as those who have been appointed to academic positions. Asst. Prof.Sansern Milindasuta, Executive Vice President for Academic Affairs, presented the awards.
The atmosphere was filled with warmth and joy as scholarship from the Kalyanivadhana Music Institute performed melodious songs, before concluding with a lucky draw raffle that everyone eagerly anticipated.
