9 Kor: Evergreen Goals - Unwavering Aspirations Towards Sustainable Careers

Bangkok University organizes the annual "9 Kor: Evergreen Goals - Unwavering Aspirations Towards Sustainable Careers" event to honor and apply His Majesty's royal initiatives and the Sufficiency Economy Philosophy, while inspiring and developing sustainable career skills for students. The event features numerous creative activities, led by workshops that blend modern technology with the Sufficiency Economy Philosophy.

Workshop 1: Writing Prompts to Create AI Keychains - Introducing students to Artificial Intelligence (AI) by learning to use AI to design youth-style keychains, reflecting the royal initiative of "self-reliance with appropriate technology," proving that technology can truly be a tool for creating value from creativity and building sustainable careers.

Workshop 2: Rock Painting for Career Development - Transforming ordinary stones into valuable items by combining imagination with technology, reflecting the principle of "creating value from what you have" according to the Sufficiency Economy Philosophy. The special highlight is that products from this workshop will be sold at the Sukkharasa Market held at Bangkok University, with all proceeds donated to Khlong 5 Orphanage, creating both economic and social value.

Workshop 3: Inspiration Notebook - Creating notebook covers using papier-mâché technique in various career forms as symbols of inspiration and positive energy, honoring the royal initiative of "diligence, perseverance, honesty, and willingness," along with the principle of "exploding from within" - self-development from small beginnings with determination, expanding toward sustainable stability.
Additionally, there are career booths and stages showcasing actual capabilities and achievements:

"Learning Towards Sustainable Career Development" Booth by students from School of Entrepreneurship and Management (BUSEM), providing a platform for students to display and actually sell their products in a complete cycle from ideation, production, to sales, featuring 7 shops: crispy seaweed rolls, artificial flower bouquets, sparkling beverages, handmade crafts and jewelry, fried durian, bags, and flower gift sets.

"Dream Careers and New Career Trends" Booth - Work by students from GE101 Thinking Skills for Lifelong Learning, through a 4-dimensional creative thinking process: Fluency, Flexibility, Originality, and Elaboration, integrating academic learning with hands-on practice according to royal initiatives.

The event also includes a blood donation activity as a royal merit-making ceremony to commemorate King Rama IX's philosophy of selfless "Giving" for the common good, accompanied by musical performances from the Thai Music and Dance Club and the International Music, Singing and Choir Club, presenting performances to commemorate Rama IX's genius as a composer and jazz musician recognized worldwide.

The "9 Kor: Learning Towards Sustainable Career Development" event not only commemorates His Majesty's royal grace but also practically applies the royal initiatives and Sufficiency Economy Philosophy through the integration of technology, creativity, and career skill development to inspire Thai youth toward a stable and sustainable future.
