BU Hosts ROBOx 2025: FUTURE in MOTION, Sparking Learning in Robotics and AI
In an era where robotics and artificial intelligence (AI) technologies play crucial roles in all sectors of society, creating spaces for inspiration and knowledge exchange in technology has become essential. Bangkok University participates in advancing toward a technological future through “ROBOx 2025: Future in Motion” held at the Robot Realm area on the 3rd floor Zeer Rangsit.
The event was organized in collaboration with the Computer and Robotics Engineering, School of Engineering and BU ROBOT STUDIO, who were determined to create a space for everyone to experience cutting-edge technology—not just to observe, but to try, learn, and create together.
ROBOx 2025: FUTURE in MOTION was held as part of the Robot Realm Grand Opening activities on the 3rd floor of Seacon Square Rangsit, a space specifically designed to accommodate competitions and technology exhibitions. The event was officially opened by Police General Permpoon Chidchob as the presiding officer.
The highlight of the opening ceremony is a special debut performance designed by students from BU ROBOT STUDIO, which uses techniques of light, color, sound, robotics, and creative AI technology to powerfully and spectacularly convey the concept of “FUTURE in MOTION” at the Robot Realm space, which was specifically designed to accommodate technology shows creating great impressions among attendees while reflecting the potential of BU students on the innovation stage.
The event featured various activities including innovation exhibitions from students and partners, hands-on experiences through workshops, robot competition zones, and virtual reality (VR) technology. Many student works displayed at this event integrated SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals) and ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) concepts into the thinking, design, and development processes, reflecting awareness of sustainable development across environmental, social, and governance dimensions, aligning with Bangkok University’s mission to drive education as a vital force for positive change at national and global levels, including:
- Innovation Booth Zone A hub of creative thinking featuring works from students and partners, covering all aspects of technology from intelligent robots, artificial intelligence, 3D printing, drones, to IoT technology connecting everything.
- Mini Workshops for students and the general public, including AI Prompt Engineering, Robotics Hands-on, and 3D Printing Design.
- Tech Talk & Panel Discussion A platform for listening to stories from experts and representatives from leading companies who shared experiences and perspectives on the future of technology.
- Technology exhibitions featuring artificial intelligence, autonomous robots, robotic arms, Virtual Reality, AI Pixie Box photography system, and BUGO+ AI bus management and navigation system developed by students from BU ROBOT STUDIO.

This event opened a creative space that everyone could participate in for free, including high school and vocational students, engineering and technology students, technology entrepreneurs, as well as parents and the general public interested in viewing student works from Computer and Robotics Engineering and Artificial Intelligence and Data Science Engineering programs, showcasing prototypes born from real learning processes to inspire youth and the general public to access robotics and AI technology closely, while creating an open learning and innovation ecosystem together in the Robot Realm space.
ROBOx 2025: FUTURE in MOTION was not just a showcase of works, but a planting of seeds of inspiration that will grow into world-changing innovations—a starting point for collaboration that will expand into academic and industrial development in the future.
