MBA BU Partners with La-Z-Boy Thailand: Empowering Future Business Leaders with Real-World Learningand Next Gen Strategies
Bangkok University Graduate School continues to emphasize its Project-Based Learning approach by bridging innovation with organizational development through the activity “Innovation and Organizational Development: La-Z-Boy Next Gen – Winning the Hearts of Gen Y & Z Consumers.” The event took place on July 26, 2025, at the La-Z-Boy Furniture Flagship Gallery.
This collaborative project with Globiz Venture Company Limited, the official distributor of La-Z-Boy wellness furniture in Thailand, brought students face-to-face with real-world business insights. Mr. Dhanakorn Kasetrsuwan, Founder and Director of La-Z-Boy Thailand and Affiliated Companies, opened the event, followed by a strategy session with Ms. Dhanaporn Kasetrsuwan, Assistant General Manager, Globiz Venture Co., Ltd., who shared key innovation and marketing tactics tailored to Gen Y and Z consumers. The project was supported by the Graduate School’s MBA English Program, with Dr. Penjira Kanthawongs serving as the faculty advisor.
Students engaged in hands-on business planning, team-based problem solving, and in-deep market analysis to prepare them for future leadership roles in a rapidly evolving business landscape. This partnership reflects MBA BU’s mission to develop future-ready leaders equipped with real-world skills and innovative mindsets that align with the expectations of the Next Gen.
