Upgrade All Skills to Become Event Production Professionals in "EVENT BU CAMP 0% Disconnected"

Event Production and MICE Management Program, School of Communication Arts, organized a skill upgrade camp for event production with "EVENT BU CAMP 0% Disconnected." The camp invited high school students to attend classes with leading industry experts, participate in special workshops, and present their work (Pitching) to unleash ideas and showcase creativity while competing for prizes worth over 15,000 baht.

Under the "Connect" concept that links students to the Event Production Program, the camp introduced the curriculum and modern equipment that meets current and future industry demands. The goal was to help students discover and develop their interests into expertise through targeted workshop activities designed to enhance specific skills. It also provided opportunities to inspire students by developing their skills, transforming interests into competencies, and creating lasting impressions through experience sharing from seniors and the warm, creative atmosphere of the Event Production Program, welcoming students to become true event production professionals.

Opening the world of event industry learning through intensive workshop activities and real professional experiences. This event was organized to provide students with intensive and close-to-professional learning experiences in the event industry, featuring three leading industry experts who shared their knowledge and experience.

"Mr. Narotm Aphimukhworasakul," Managing Director of KEEP IN TOUCH PROJECT, shared knowledge on stage design, lighting, color, sound, and concert experience.

"Mr. Saksukul Kaewmat," Vice President - Promoter at SHOWBIZ GMM SHOW, provided insights on creative design for concerts.

"Ms. Datarn Sreetarawiworn," Project Manager - BLKGEM at GMM SHOW, shared knowledge on planning and management for concerts.

During the event, students had opportunities to participate in hands-on workshops with real equipment including lighting, color, and sound systems, as well as practicing show cue running skills and stage hosting on real stages. This provided comprehensive experience both front-of-house and behind-the-scenes to truly understand the overall picture of event work.

Another highlight was the creative idea competition and pitching presentation, giving students opportunities to showcase their outstanding potential by applying classroom knowledge to create concert proposals with their own skills, while experiencing pitching presentations with program faculty. The winning groups were "Everyone! We PBOST (P-Boss) 100% connected already" from Sukonteerrawit School and "Cool kids ma ao 10K" from Phetchaburi Rajabhat University Demonstration School, receiving prizes of 10,000 baht and 5,000 baht respectively. Additionally, recreational activities enhanced the impressive atmosphere through relationship building and fun activities, providing opportunities for students to converse and exchange perspectives with seniors and new friends, while passing on and fulfilling inspiration to confidently take their first steps into the event industry and continue toward future success.

This event was part of the EDM401 Event and MICE for Corporate course, allowing students to learn management methods and create appropriate work for organizational culture and marketing plans. It provided comprehensive corporate work experience through teaching processes, workshop organization, and hands-on practice.
