BU International X Department of Cultural Promotion, Ministry of Culture Provide Case Studies to Promote Cultural Tourism and Push Thai Soft Power
The International Tourism and Hospitality Management Program, International College, in collaboration with the Department of Cultural Promotion, Ministry of Culture, has provided case studies to students in the THI203 Consumer Behavior in Tourism and Hospitality Industries course to promote cultural tourism and push Thai Soft Power to be widely recognized. The course is taught by Assistant Professor Dr. Walaiporn Rewtrakulpaiboon, with guidance and support from the Department of Cultural Promotion team led by Mr. Issara Rewtrakulpaiboon, Director of Cultural Network Affairs Division, Mr. Chalermsak Sutthi, and Ms. Rungnapa Krasian. This initiative encourages students to practice thinking processes from real challenges, integrate classroom theories, and unleash their creativity in promoting Thai cultural tourism. The event was honored by Ms. Waraphan Chaichanasiri, Deputy Director-General of the Department of Cultural Promotion, who presented certificates and first-place awards to two student teams.
