BU organizes an event to commemorate King Rama IX.
The administrators, faculty, and students of Bangkok University humbly commemorate the royal grace of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej The Great on the occasion of Navamindra Maharaj Day, October 13th of every year. They organize the event to commemorate King Rama IX an activity to remember the royal grace of Rama IX towards sustainable development through exhibitions, workshop activities, and music. This is to carry on the royal intention and the philosophy of Sufficiency Economy, creating a sustainable society following in the royal footsteps.
The event includes activities such as alms-giving for royal merit, a performance of dance interpretations of royal composition songs, exhibitions and workshop activities (Lasting Memories), and blood donation to offer as royal merit on the anniversary of His Majesty's passing.
