BUDC Alumni Wins International Silver REMI Award from WorldFest-Houston for 3D Animation Work "Chalawan"

Congratulations on the proud achievement of Digital Media students from the Faculty of Digital Media and Cinematic Arts (BUDC) who brought honor to Thailand on the international stage with their 3D animation work "Chalawan". This creative work was produced by a team of 9 students led by Mr. Polrit Wongshalard, Mr. Jirapun Jirachotkaskul, Mr. Sitthipol Thipsuwanporn, Mr. Thanathip Khanathikhamee, Mr. Khundet Phrueknopphadon, Mr. Siwakorn Chutichaisakda, Mr. Rawipol Sungkhasamit, Mr. Suphanat Nuangjumnong, and Mr. Peerawat Moonkhay. They won the Silver REMI Award from the prestigious international film competition, The 58th WorldFest-Houston International Film Festival, in the Computer Generated/CGI/Mixed Media/3D category, which is highly competitive and requires professional-level technological skills and creativity. Ready to win the 26th DigiCon6 ASIA Awards, The Rookies Excellence Award, and Official Selection at the Los Angeles Animation Festival 2024



The WorldFest-Houston International Film Festival is one of the oldest and most renowned international film festivals, organized to honor and celebrate excellence in film and video productions. It serves as an important platform where filmmakers from around the world compete and showcase their potential.
