Unlocking the Comfort Zone — BU-ITI Student Builds Skills and Pursues Success

Congratulations to Miss Prodpran Ananlertsakul (Jamie), an Information Technology student at the School of Information Technology and Innovation, who received the 5th National Honor Award 2025 in the category of Outstanding National Youth Role Model in Education and Academics, presented by the Ministry of Education and the Distance Learning Promotion Association of Thailand. This award recognizes youth who have demonstrated outstanding achievements, strong ethics and morality, professional conduct, and who serve as positive role models for society and the nation.

"My interest in IT came from my family environment — growing up in a household that loved computers made technology a natural part of everyday life. I kept learning continuously, and with support from my family, school, and university, I entered competitions frequently. All of this pushed me toward IT directly. I feel that IT 'really works' for me, because it opens up opportunities to create and learn through real hands-on experience — through activities, competitions, and projects. That is the charm of IT."

Interests and Strengths
"I'm interested in graphic design and UX/UI — I have experience on design and user experience projects across platforms. But my dream after graduation is to become a Project Manager — a role I already practice often through managing projects, planning processes, delegating tasks, and tracking progress. I genuinely enjoy management and leading teams."

The (Not-So-Secret) Secret to Leaving Your Comfort Zone
"It starts with the courage to present yourself and accept being seen by others. If you don't dare put yourself forward, you won't gain anything — staying in your comfort zone keeps you stuck. You have to move forward and build a stronger new comfort zone. I see life like 'opening a map' in a game — explore new territory, unlock new chapters, and level up. Once you take that first step, every step after becomes easier."
