First Thai Professor from BU Joins ICU World Cheerleading Judging Committee
Congratulations to Ajarn Sarawut Samniangdee, Instructor Talent Development Department of Bangkok University, who has been invited by the International Cheer Union (ICU) to serve as a judge for two competitions: ICU World Cheerleading Championships 2025 & International Cheerleading Cup 2025, taking place from April 23-28, 2025 at ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex within Walt Disney World Resort, Orlando, Florida, United States.
Ajarn Sarawut, is the first Thai person to be selected as a judge in cheerleading from expert committee members representing over 120 countries worldwide. This marks the third consecutive year he has been honored to participate in this international arena.
This competition features member countries from up to 120 nations, covering competitions across Youth, Junior, and Senior levels. It is officially recognized by the International Olympic Committee (IOC).
Bangkok University, as a leading educational institution supporting faculty capabilities at the international level, proudly celebrates this achievement and hopes this story will inspire all students and staff to step onto the world stage with similar determination.
