School of Business Administration has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Thai SME Federation (SME Thai) and the MSME Thai Network to develop academic and business cooperation, aiming to create concrete outcomes for student development and sustainably enhance the potential of Thai SME entrepreneurs.

The signing ceremony was led by Dr.Krairoek Pinkaeo, Dean, School of Business Administration, and Dr.Nittana Tarnittanakorn, Associate Dean School of Business Administration, along with faculty members from various departments. A.Khanaphot Wongchaleang, lecturer in the Digital Marketing program, serves as the head of this collaborative project, joined by Dr.Kittipoom Supamontri, Director, Digital Marketing Program, as well as A.Tam Tanjaya, A.Siripong Teopipithporn, Dr.Penjira Kanthawongs, A.San Pinkaew, and A. Sorranan Rongrodejanarug. The primary goal is to drive student potential development to be ready for real work in the modern business world and create practical learning experiences applicable in the working world, with an emphasis on creating Outcome-Based Learning for students of the Faculty of Business Administration through learning from real business challenges of SME and MSME entrepreneurs, such as business plan development, digital marketing analysis, and creating content and strategies that can be practically applied. This enables students to develop strategic thinking skills, teamwork, and business problem-solving from real situations.

At the same time, SME entrepreneurs will benefit from academic knowledge, technology, and fresh perspectives from students and faculty through joint activities such as the Next Gen Creator x SME Thailand project, Non-Degree Programs, academic services for entrepreneurs in collaboration with the Association of Private Higher Education Institutions of Thailand (APHEIT), as well as consultation and development of business approaches that address changes in the digital era.

During the event, executives and faculty members met with Dr. Nopphong Teeravora, President of the Thai SME Federation, and K. Rungroj Achatewan, Chairman of the Trade and Investment Promotion Committee of the Thai SME Federation, along with executives and entrepreneurs from various industries. Together, they set the direction for long-term cooperation to create a learning and innovation network between universities and the business sector, representing collaboration for sustainable development.

The collaboration between the School of Business Administration and the Thai SME Federation marks a significant step in elevating Practice-Based Education, providing students with opportunities to learn from real-world scenarios while creating value and positive impact on the business sector and the country's economy in the long term. It also reflects the university's role as a crucial mechanism for social and economic development through producing quality graduates alongside supporting Thai entrepreneurs to grow strong and sustainably, while creating University Impact that concretely connects education, business, and society.
