Global Communication Students Drive ESG Awareness Through Strategic Partnership with MCOT
The Master of Communication Arts Program in Global Communication has officially partnered with MCOT Public Company Limited to empower students with a premier public platform to showcase their media creations focused on Sustainability and Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles
Building upon the success of the "Sustainability & Innovation in Action" initiative, this strategic collaboration seamlessly connects academic learning with professional industry standards. Designed to enhance student credentials while supporting the university’s Grad Impact Activity, the program challenged students to translate complex global sustainability topics into compelling, highly accessible English-language content. Guided by MCOT’s industry briefs, students produced either dynamic social media carousel posts using generative AI tools or impactful short articles.
Through intensive workshops led by veteran broadcasting and digital media professionals from MCOT, MCA-GC students gained invaluable, real-world insights into national-level media production and audience engagement.
Demonstrating outstanding creativity, critical thinking, and communication prowess, selected student works were chosen for official publication across MCOT’s primary digital networks, including the official MCOT ESG Insight Facebook page and the https://esg.mcot.net/esg/th news portal.
To honor their exceptional contributions and professional execution, all selected students were awarded official Certificates of Recognition by MCOT Public Company Limited. Furthermore, their media assets have been actively deployed in real-world campaigns to raise public awareness around critical ESG and sustainability topics.
