BuBus x Major Cineplex: Bridging Education and Business to Develop Skills for Next-Generation Marketers

 

Marketing Program, School of Business Administration, organized a business case competition for the project "BuBus x Major Cineplex: Synergy for Cinema Promotion 2025" under courses MK422 Sales Promotion Strategies and MK426 Entertainment Marketing at The Banquet Room, 5th Floor, A5 Building, Bangkok University, to promote learning through real business challenges.

 

 

This project was a collaboration between the Faculty of Business Administration and Major Cineplex Group Public Company Limited. Asst. Prof.Dr.Nisit  Manotungvorapun, Associate Dean, School of Business Administration, delivered the closing remarks, while Dr.Thanakit Vongmahasetha, Chairperson, Marketing Department, welcomed and supported the project throughout.

 

 

The event was honored by executives from Major Cineplex Group Public Company Limited serving as judges, including K. Suranach  Chonsakultaworn (Branch General Manager), K. Yaowaret  Puangsaeng (Operation Manager), K. Chanikun  Chamroongfa (Marketing) and K. Suthisa  Thongmanee (Area Manager).

 

 

More than 52 student teams participated in developing marketing plans for the challenge "Strategies to Increase Major Cineplex Sales in Pathum Thani Area," along with designing Short Viral Marketing Campaigns to create awareness and stimulate customer engagement, under the supervision of A.Yaowaluk Aekphitoon and Dr.Kittisorn  Boonnark, School members of the Marketing Program.

 

 

Competition Winners:

  • Champion: Team Mun-samong-kong-Mammee
  • 1st Runner-up: Team Coco-Ho
  • 2nd Runner-up: Team Boonthicha Paworawan

          This project exemplifies strong collaboration between educational institutions and the business sector, helping develop students' potential to apply theory in real situations and preparing them to enter the professional marketing industry.
