School of Law Football Team Wins the Juris League 2024 Championship

 

Congratulations to the School of Law Football Team for winning the Juris League 2024 Championship in the Law Schools' Relationship Building Football Tournament held at the Mini Stadium, Thammasat University (Rangsit Campus). This football competition involved 6 universities: Chulalongkorn University, Thammasat University, Kasetsart University, Srinakharinwirot University, Rangsit University and Bangkok University. This year, the Faculty of Law at Thammasat University hosted the event.

 

 

The competition was divided into 2 groups. The School of Law, Bangkok University was placed in Group A alongside Chulalongkorn University and Srinakharinwirot University. In the first match, Bangkok University defeated Srinakharinwirot University with a score of 2:0. In the second match, Bangkok University beat Chulalongkorn University 5:0, making Bangkok University the top team in Group A and advancing to the Semi-Finals.

 

 

In the Semi-Final round, Bangkok University faced Thammasat University and won 2:0. This victory took School of Law, Bangkok University to the final match against Rangsit University, where they won 2:1, claiming the Juris League 2024 Championship. 

 

 

The goalscorers throughout the tournament were: #10 Thitiwat  Awon, #90 Prakasit  Buangbon, #26 Rungpat  Thanasomla, #14 Techit  Tiansri, #19 Suebsakul  Sithongdi, #7 Sirisak  Saksirikoson.

 

 

And #47 Yosaphan  Phiwkliang, who won the Most Valuable Player Award in the Juris League 2024.
