BU LAW Students Live Up to Their Reputation, Clinch 1st Place in Rapee Day Legal Quiz Contest

Congratulations to BU LAW Team 1 members, students from School of Law, for winning first place in the university-level legal quiz competition on the occasion of Rapee Day 2024, regional selection round. The event was organized by the Office of the Chief Justice of Region 1 to select representatives from higher education institutions in the Region 1 Court of Justice area (covering Nonthaburi, Chainat, Pathum Thani, Ayutthaya, Lopburi, Samut Prakan, Saraburi, Singburi, Ang Thong provinces, excluding Bangkok).

The path to this award required competing to measure skills that are not easily attained. The BU LAW Team 1 first passed the provincial selection round, winning first place in the university-level legal quiz competition at the provincial level. This round was organized by the Juvenile and Family Court of Pathum Thani Province to select representatives from higher education institutions in Pathum Thani to compete at the regional level (Region 1).

We send our best wishes and support to BU LAW Team 1 as they advance to compete in the national level legal quiz competition for Rapee Day 2024.

The legal quiz competition on Rapee Day is held to commemorate the Father of Thai Law. Rapee Day is organized in remembrance of Prince Rabi of Ratchaburi (Phra Chao Boromwongse Ther Phra Ong Chao Rapheephatanasak Krommaluang Ratchaburidirekrit), who laid the foundation for modern Thai law and judicial system. The event aims to promote legal education and to test knowledge and skills. It provides an opportunity for students to examine their knowledge, understanding, and application of law in various situations.
