สถิติจากศูนย์ปฏิบัติการ Security Operation Center (SOC) ของ CAT cyfence ระบุว่า การถูกติดตั้งมัลแวร์ (Malware) ลงบนเครื่องคอมพิวเตอร์โดยที่ผู้ใช้งานไม่รู้ตัว เช่น การเปิด Spam Mail, การคลิกลิงก์แปลกๆ, การเสียบ USB ในคอมพิวเตอร์สาธารณะ ฯลฯ จนอาชญากรไซเบอร์สามารถเข้ามาโจมตีข้อมูลได้นั้น นับเป็นช่องทางหลักในการคุกคามทางไซเบอร์ที่ทั่วโลกกำลังเผชิญอยู่
