The era of carrying stacks of documents to complete transactions is over. The following digital transaction concept is set to usher in an age where everyone can verify and confirm their identity with confidence. The project, CID Hotel Wallet, created by Team Code In Dream (CID) — students from the School of Information Technology and Innovation — has won First Place at the ETDA Bootcamp 2026: Empowering Digital Citizens to Build Digital Trust, a competitive ideas platform for the new generation designed to foster intensive learning, hands-on practice, and the development of Digital Trust concepts. Organized by the Electronic Transactions Development Agency (ETDA), the five-day program brought together 15 student teams to participate in workshops developing use cases and building upon ideas related to Digital ID, Verifiable Credentials (VC), and Digital Document Wallets — all aimed at creating digital services that are convenient, secure, and trustworthy. Throughout the program, every team engaged in brainstorming, identifying pain points, refining business models, and experimenting with concepts, ultimately presenting their ideas and showcasing their full potential before a panel of distinguished judges — evaluated from the perspectives of technology, real-world feasibility, business models, and the vision of building Digital Trust for Thailand's digital future.

Boong Panitipong Chooprasertchok, a 2nd-year Computer Science student in the School of Information Technology and Innovation, has been selected as one of 10 representatives of the 21st Young Thai Science Ambassador program, earning the title of "National Outstanding Science Communicator." He took part in a science communication development camp under the theme "Future Green Jobs," which aims to build skills in conveying scientific and technological knowledge to the general public in a way that is easy to understand, clear, and well-targeted.

In a remarkable achievement while still a student, Man Worapol Siriburi, a Computer Science student specialising in Data Science and Cybersecurity at School of Information Technology and Innovation (ITI), pursued opportunities that led him to the global stage. Starting from a genuine curiosity and the courage to seek new experiences, he was selected and appointed as IBM Z Student Ambassador for Academic Year 2025–2026 — an international programme by IBM aimed at developing the next generation of technology leaders in Mainframe and Enterprise Computing. He was also appointed by Amazon Web Services (AWS) as AWS Student Builder Group Leader, making him the first Thai student to hold an IBM Mainframe Ambassador role at the global level.

Congratulations to three Instructor members from School of Information Technology and Innovation and School of Engineering, who have been certified under the Prototype Micro-Credential Curriculum from the "New Graduate Production" Project, Cohort 1 — a national-level initiative aimed at reforming Thai higher education to meet the demands of the digital age. 	The project was established through a collaboration between the Office of the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation (OPS-MHESI), and more than 24 leading universities across Thailand. An intensive two-day workshop was held to allow educators to exchange knowledge, design, and develop Micro-Credential curricula that genuinely address learner competencies, with the goal of elevating graduates and sustainably developing the country's human capital.

In another year of showcasing talent, second-year students from the Faculty of Information Technology, Bangkok University (1st cohort) were selected to participate in the KAIT Technical Internship Program — marking yet another year as the only private university in Thailand with students chosen for this program. The students received scholarships from the Japan Student Services Organization (JASSO) to intern at Kanagawa Institute of Technology (KAIT), Japan. Selection was conducted through interviews where students pitched project ideas with real development potential.
