BU International Partners with Chinese Enterprises Association in Thailand to Open the World of Chinese Business, Preparing Students for Their Career Paths

Bangkok University, through BU International, in collaboration with the Chinese Enterprises Association in Thailand, held the event "CHINA X: China–Thailand Industry Connect, Youth Career Forum and MoU Signing Ceremony and Career Fair." The event aimed to connect the education sector with the Chinese business sector, while giving students the opportunity to learn and prepare for their future career paths.

 

 

The event was honored by the presence of Dr. Xu Lan, Counselor: Cultural Section, Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in the Kingdom of Thailand; and Dr. Liu Quanlei, Chairman of the Chinese Enterprises Association in Thailand and CEO and Country Head, Bank of China (Thai) Public Company and Asst. Prof. Dr. Duangthida Nunthapirat, Assistant to the President for International Affairs, who together opened the event and exchanged views on promoting collaboration between Thailand and China.

 

 

One of the key highlights of the event was the signing ceremony for three Memorandums of Understanding (MoU), aimed at strengthening collaboration between the education sector and industry, and creating learning and development opportunities for students in the future

In addition, students gained insights from the business sector through stories of corporate success and growth, as well as a panel discussion under the theme "Building Careers Across Cultures," which gave students the opportunity to learn about working within a cross-cultural context inside the event, students can explore internship and career opportunities with the Chinese companies participating in the Career Fair booth area.

Bangkok University students took part in an Art Talk event at Dib Bangkok, gaining the opportunity to learn about and understand the world of contemporary art and culture through direct experience with professionals in the field — including arts and culture organization executives, artists, curators, and architects — while learning about the role of organizations and networks that help drive the international art scene. The event was divided into two sessions: the Exclusive Art Talk with Dib Bangkok and CHANEL Culture Fund in the morning, and Project 147: Archeogaming — Curators' Conversation with the Artist Nawin Nuthong in the afternoon.
