Global Tourism, Hospitality Discovery & Recruitment 2026: Partnering with Leading Organizations to Bridge Education and International Career Opportunities

International Tourism and Hospitality Management (ITHM) program at the Bangkok University International joined forces with more than 30 leading partners in the tourism and hospitality industry — including Marriott International, IHG Hotels and Resorts, and Hilton — to host the "Global Tourism, Hospitality Discovery & Recruitment 2026" event. The event took place on the 5th floor of the Surat Library Building (C6), Bangkok University, and was a resounding success in both industry collaboration and student development.

The event welcomed distinguished organizations such as PATA, QSNCC, TCEB, AirAsia, PCL Hospitality, and Oakwood Hotels & Residences, who participated as Keynote Speakers and Panel Discussion guests. They shared insights on labor market trends, future-ready skills, and career advancement pathways, equipping students with firsthand knowledge from industry professionals. Alongside recruitment activities, the event demonstrated the business sector's strong confidence in the ITHM program and its robust industry partnerships.

Student participation was enthusiastic throughout, particularly among third-year students enrolled in THI391 Career Preparation, who attended en masse to prepare for their upcoming professional internships. Students submitted applications, interviewed with HR representatives, and built direct professional networks — resulting in internship opportunities and selections across a variety of roles. This reflects the tangible outcomes of integrating curriculum design with real industry demands.

The success of this event reinforces ITHM's role as a hub for university-industry collaboration. ITHM BU International remains committed to creating activities that connect learning with professional opportunities, empowering students and sustainably addressing the needs of the global labor market.
