In a world where technology and communication evolve at lightning speed, the Media and Communication program at BU International Programs prepares students to become creative strategists and forward-thinking media professionals. Blending creativity, analytics, and hands-on practice, the program helps students master strategic communication, integrated media planning, and digital storytelling, transforming their passion for media into global career opportunities.
 

Where Creativity Meets Strategy

This program combines creativity and strategic thinking with a strong foundation in communication theory and real-world practice. Students explore everything from interpersonal to mass communication, mastering media ideation and campaign planning. Courses are led by experienced faculty who bring industry expertise into every classroom, helping students become confident communicators ready to lead in advertising, PR, and event management.

Learning at BU International Programs means doing. Students participate in workshops and projects that build essential skills for today’s communication industry. Each year focuses on a new challenge, from understanding creative briefs and mastering advertising design to analyzing data and executing full-scale campaigns. Global Recognition 
Through a Double Degree

Students can earn a Double Degree through BU International Programs’ partnership with the University of Canberra, Australia. This 3+1 program allows students to spend three years at Bangkok University and one year abroad, graduating with two degrees: Bachelor of Communication Arts (Media and Communication) and Bachelor of Communication and Media from the University of Canberra. This global learning pathway enhances both international exposure and career prospects.

 

Cutting-Edge Courses for the Digital Era

The curriculum is designed to keep students ahead of industry trends. With courses such as TikTok Marketing, Data Visualization, Media Optimization and Performance Marketing, Digital Public Relations Strategy, and Event Experience Design and Management, students learn how to navigate and create impact in a constantly evolving digital landscape.
