BU, the only university in Thailand, collaborates with Marriott International Greater China and 12 Hong Kong Hotels to set a new standard in hospitality education for students.  

 

            Bangkok University International has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Marriott International Greater China, which operates over 530 hotels in mainland China and 12 properties in Hong Kong. Asst. Prof.Dr.Duangthida Nunthapirat, Dean, Bangkok University International Programs, represented the university in signing this collaboration aimed at curriculum development and expanding international internship opportunities for students to enhance their global professional skills and international work experience.

 

 

The signing ceremony took place during the seminar "Building and Developing Employment Quality in Tourism and Service Industry" at Four Points by Sheraton, Tianjin National Convention and Exhibition Center, China. The event was attended by representatives from over 100 local colleges and executives from Marriott International Greater China, marking a significant step in international educational and professional collaboration. Additionally, Asst. Prof.Dr.Duangthida Nunthapirat and Ajarn Karnchana Phakpho, Chairperson, International Tourism Management Program, Bangkok University International Programs, attended the 2024 Young Chef Competition-National Finals and discussed future collaborations with World Chef Associations.
