The International Center held the “Cultural Knowledge Sharing: Laos” event organized by Lao students and International Culture Exchange (ICE) staff team at the Foyer, Floor 1st of C6 Building.

Cultural Knowledge Sharing: Laos

 

The International Center cooperated with the Library and Learning Space  held the “Cultural Knowledge Sharing: Laos” event co-organized by Lao students and International Culture Exchange (ICE) staff team at the Foyer, Floor 1 of  Building C6.

In the event, Lao students presented the welcoming ceremony of Lao culture to all participants by binding their wrists with holy threads. Then, they led everyone to get to know more about their country through various activities, including Baslop Dance, Wishing Tree, Photo Booth and Laos Tourism Information Booth.

 

 

Moreover, students got to enjoy unique dishes of  Lao cuisine, such as Luang Prabang Style Papaya Salad, Riverweed, Lao Coffee and Tea, as well as a special menu from the BU Library-Grilled Sticky Rice with Egg.

Students were supposed to learn more about Lao culture and make more friends through this event.
