BUHTM Co-Hosts National and International Liberal Arts Academic Conference with KMITL

 

School of Humanities and Tourism Management co-hosted the 15th National Conference on Applied Liberal Arts (NCAA 2026) and The 9th International Conference on Applied Liberal Arts (ICAA 2026), in partnership with the School of Liberal Arts, King Mongkut's Institute of Technology Ladkrabang (KMITL), for the third consecutive year. This collaboration reflects the Faculty's ongoing role in supporting platforms for knowledge exchange, research dissemination, and the development of academic collaboration networks at both the national and international levels.

 

 

This academic conference served as an important platform, providing scholars, faculty members, researchers, and students with the opportunity to present their research, exchange knowledge, and further develop applied liberal arts concepts for the benefit of social and industrial advancement. Faculty members from the School of Humanities and Tourism Management also participated as research paper reviewers and served as English-language masters of ceremonies during the event — further reinforcing the capabilities of the Faculty's personnel in academic expertise, research, and communication on an international stage.

 

 

In addition, a team of students from the Department of English — Ms. Pitchayapa Yomtem, Ms. Natchaya Methaduang, Ms. Apinya Naseh, and Mr. Jessadakorn Ritbamrung — under the supervision of Ajarn Jaturaporn Khongbang, brought great pride to the Faculty by winning the "Best Presentation" award for their international research presentation titled "Self-Video Recording as a Tool to Improve University Students' English Speaking Skills: A Case Study." This achievement reflects the students' ability to apply their English language knowledge to research, academic presentation, and the development of real-world communication skills.

 

 

This participation in the academic conference not only reflects the strong academic and research capabilities of the Faculty of Humanities and Tourism Management, but also demonstrates the Faculty's continued commitment to providing students and faculty members with opportunities to showcase their potential on national and international platforms — while jointly advancing applied liberal arts knowledge for the broader benefit of education, society, and industry.
