The Department of Hotel Management and Department of Tourism Management, School of Humanities and Tourism Management, organized a curriculum enhancement activity titled "Contemporary Approaches to Sustainability in Hospitality: Theory Meets Practice" for students enrolled in HM411: Seminar and Research in Contemporary Issues for Hotel and HM353: Hotel Career Preparation, integrated with TM421: Special Event Management.

The event was honored by Dr. Noppadol  Manosuthi, lecturer from Chulalongkorn University, expert in hospitality and tourism research, and Mr. Phumin  Jacota, Sales Executive of Jacota Brothers Trading Co., Ltd., who served as guest speakers and activity facilitators.

During this activity, students gained in-depth perspectives from industry practitioners, understanding the challenges and opportunities in implementing sustainable practices and real-world problem-solving. The opportunity to listen and engage with the speakers helped students and participants develop analytical thinking and critical questioning skills, which are essential for research. This enabled them to evaluate approaches and impacts of applying sustainability concepts in various contexts.

"In this activity, students will receive guidance from instructors:
Ajarn Pisorn  Janvanichyanont, Chairperson, Hotel Management Department, Asst. Prof.Dr.Pipatpong   Fakfare and Ajarn Paskrich  Sutthiwetin, Instructor of the School of Humanities and Tourism Management
