Bangkok University continues to expand its global academic network. Bangkok University, in collaboration with the British Council Thailand, hosted an official Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signing ceremony with Royal Holloway, University of London, a leading higher education institution from the United Kingdom. 

The ceremony commenced with welcoming remarks delivered by Asst. Prof.Dr.Somyot Wattanakamolchai, Vice President for International Affairs at Bangkok University. Following this, Ms. Sarah Rogerson, Country Director of the British Council Thailand, and Mr. Steve Thomas, Head of Global Partnerships and Business Development at Royal Holloway, University of London, shared their perspectives on the vision and objectives of the collaboration. The event was witnessed by Asst. Prof.Dr.Duangthida Nunthapirat, Assistant to the President for International Affairs, alongside executives from BU International, including Jermsuda Manakul, Dean of the International Program,Haining Li, Associate Dean of BU International, and distinguished institutional partners.

In addition to the signing ceremony, a special workshop titled “How to Pitch Projects to International Screen Markets” was conducted by Assoc. Prof. George Guo from the Department of Music, Drama and Media Arts at Royal Holloway. Assoc. Prof. Guo provided in-depth strategies and professional techniques on pitching and scaling creative ideas for the global marketplace. The workshop was attended by students from creative media disciplines, including Creative Communication Design, Film, Series and Global Content Production and Business, Innovative Media Production, and Media & Communication. The program concluded with a guided campus tour, showcasing Bangkok University’s state-of-the-art facilities and dynamic learning environment to the visiting delegation.

This collaboration marks another significant milestone for BU International in advancing internationalization, enhancing practical skill sets, and unlocking professional pathways to prepare students for careers in the global creative industries.
