Congratulations to Ice (Methas Tipwasri) and Mimi (Phusita Jiwalak), students in the Visual Communication Design program, School of Fine and Applied Arts, for winning the 1st Runner-Up at the Junior Motion Battle competition at Motion Fest 2026. Six teams competed, including the School of Communication Innovation at Srinakharinwirot University; Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, Silpakorn University; Faculty of Fine and Applied Arts, Chulalongkorn University; Faculty of Fine and Applied Arts, Burapha University and Bangkok University. The competition required participants to create a 15-second motion graphic based on the brief "Everything Can Fight" and an audio file provided in advance. Teams were given two hours to create their work and one hour to render it. Throughout the competition, participants had to use the organizer's computers and display their screens at all times, showing every step of their design process.

At the event, five students also presented a Visual Concert for the artist Pae MVL of the label SpicyDisc, featuring their work for the songs "Unlovable" and "Wan Yen". The students were Kim (Phasin Phaohuasa), Big (Jetsada Chairat), Off (Sopanwit Seekham), First (Kritnichaphat Onlamun), and Opal (Kittikan Atthapak).

This success was made possible by the close support and guidance of the faculty advisors responsible for the project: Asst. Prof. Nijjang Phanthaphot, Dr. Thanploy Nutkasem, and Ajarn Rungnapa Kan, faculty members of the School of Fine and Applied Arts.

Motion Fest 2026 is a gathering of creatives in the motion graphics industry from across Bangkok and Thailand. It stands as another platform that proves the potential and creative DNA of students from the Faculty of Fine and Applied Arts, showing that no matter how difficult the challenge, they can shine in the professional arena.
