International Center continues to promote the quality of life and welfare of international students through the "Balanced Body and Mind Workshops" program — an initiative designed to enrich campus life while promoting physical health, mental well-being, and Thai cultural learning through creative activities.

The program's first phase focuses on promoting physical health through the "Muay Thai Workshop by Thai Fight," giving international students the chance to learn the fundamentals of Thailand's martial art while exercising and practicing skills through an activity that's both fun and suited to students.

The activity is held on a continuing basis so students can keep learning and practicing, while also serving as a space to meet new friends and build relationships among international students from diverse countries. Beyond promoting physical health, the Muay Thai Workshop is also a gateway for international students to experience Thai culture firsthand — encountering Muay Thai as both a martial art and a piece of Thai cultural heritage through hands-on, experiential learning, helping them gain a deeper understanding of Thailand and Thai culture.

The Balanced Body and Mind Workshops program also reflects a holistic approach to student care, aiming to build balance between body and mind while fostering emotional intelligence through activities that relieve stress, create enjoyment, and give students the chance to spend time outside the classroom in a creative way.

These activities are part of the mission of the International Student Services and Welfare Department at the International Center to create meaningful campus life experiences for international students — supporting not only academics, but also well-being, relationship-building, and experiential learning, so students can live their university life happily and in balance.
